Thinking I am getting in deep when I want to start making myself ANY article of clothing. So, I thought it would be fun to post of pic of some of the fabric that I already have. Most of the fabic is 100% polyester which I had purchased A LONG time ago with the same intentions that I am having now. haha :) You see how far I got with that the last time! I really want to make an effort this time & finally get something made. The only bad part is I dont have any patterns,& no ideas on what to do so I am pretty much stuck right now. :(
Thats why I have made a post on this. I need help!! Any great ideas out there would be appreciated.
Here is a photo of the poly fabric that I do have. Who knows I may not be able to do anything with it but I would like to give it a try.
I have to say most of these fabrics are not really wintery but if I get started now I may have them done for spring/summer!!
This is really tough... I have a few poly pieces from back in the day that I like too well to get rid of. But I can't seem to find any way to use them either.
ReplyDeleteBrainstorming here... a summery wrap dress might be nice out of one of these fabrics. Maybe one that you can't see through (so you wouldn't have to line or worry about a slip). Or something with a sleeveless sort of fitted top with a flowy summer length skirt.
